51 – Wash My Hair With Baking Soda

There are a couple reasons I know of for washing your hair with baking soda: for healthier, stronger hair and monetary savings.

There are no happy bubbles when you wash your hair this way. It feels more like rubbing sand into your scalp. The longer I massaged my scalp, the less like sand it feels. My hair seemed to grow softer the longer it stayed in. After a few minutes, I rinsed it out. My hair felt a bit dry, so I was glad I had prepared a rinse of apple cider vinegar, water, and essential oil as a follow-up. It felt great, but I abhor ACV. The smell is awful. Overall, I’m truly impressed! My hair felt great all day. If I can find a good replacement for ACV, I would wash my hair like that on a regular basis.

Natural, minimalistic options can be good,
